PT 10-15hrs/wk, , $18~$24 (hourly + tips) your customer service skills determines your potential. Scheduled shifts typically range between 4~5 hours during which time you will have direct and continuous sales/service contact with customers, remain on their feet for the entire period, handle financial transactions, and maintain a healthy relaxing atmosphere.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain a friendly, high energy attitude when interacting with Liks’ customers and other employees.
- Ensure that all ice cream/yogurt/sherbet/sorbets served to the customers meet Liks’ proportion and quality standards.
- Be able to use a cash register and accurately handle cash exchange.
- Follow housekeeping and sanitation policies in the customer, serving, and prep areas.
- Ensure that the inventory of ice cream and serving containers are adequately maintained to properly serve Liks’ customers.
Non-essential Job Functions:
- Liks is a team-based work environment and all employees may be asked to perform tasks that may not be directly related to their specific assignment.
- Each employee is expected to help out as needed provided that his/her primary duties will not be neglected.
- Interact with wholesale and retail customers and ensure that their questions, concerns, and requirements are met.
Requirements:
- 16+ years of age.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to read and write legibly in English.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, math, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Have reliable transportation to and from work.
